In 1990, Shoshana Technologies developed an Operating Room Scheduling Application for efficient management of hospital operating rooms, examination rooms, doctors and other mission critical needs. Installed at various area hospitals, most notably the University of Michigan Hospital, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, where it was in continuous use for over ten years.

Based on the success of the Operating Room Scheduling System, we were chosen by Kelly Home Care Services™ (formerly Kelly Assisted Living™) to develop, deploy and support a scheduling system for their Private Duty Home Health Care business. Our application served all of their scheduling, contact management and reporting needs. A typical branch had 3 or 4 workstations and scheduled from 2,000 to 4,000 hours per week. Deployed on more than 260 workstations in 90 offices nationwide, the Shoshana Scheduling System was in service for over ten years, scheduling well over 60 million hours of private duty service.

In 2003, Shoshana released the next generation of scheduling systems for Home Care Agencies, the Rosemark Scheduling System. This product makes powerful scheduling tools, formerly available to only the very largest companies, affordable to even the smallest.
